Random

Red Dan coffee crate from San Franisco, CA...1916 date on the side.

The tundra appears to be absorbing this Old dump truck.

Winter is hard on stop signs around these parts as can be seen by the standby stop signs here.

Just liked the composition of this stump. Nome has no trees, drift wood travels the rivers like the Yukon from interior Alaska to the Bearing Sea and then gets deposited along the coast of the Seward Peninsula.

Just looking...!

Fish Camp

Outwaters Family fish camp, Memorial Day.  My first tast of dried seal meat...could be an acquired tast.

No trip in Alaska is complete without getting stuck or breaking something...we accomplished one of the two!

Entering Port of Nome, wind let up enough to get on the water today but turbidity was one to two feet at best and we only jumped one diver.

Weather Bit

Dusty streets of Nome!

Beach launched dredge...when there's a will, there is a way.

Many dredges dry docked threw the winter.

Big boy dredges!
